Watchdog handling
- The device has a watchdog WDT.
- The watchdog is fed during flash programming.
Device specific handling
Connect
- On connect, it is checked whether the BOOTROM recognized the debugger (hot-plugging)
- If the debugger is not recognized, a cold-plugging procedure is started. For this, the core is reset and released via the BOOTROM.
Reset
- The device uses a custom reset, as it runs BOOTROM afte reset. The reset is implemented by running a cold-plugging procedure, followed by exiting BOOTROM into park mode.
Attach
Attach is a debugging feature which exclusively applies to J-Link and J-Trace and does not apply to Flasher.
- Attach is supported only if hot-plugging works by default. This is generally the case when a valid application is running from flash.
