The SK-FM3-100PMC is an MB9BF506N evaluation board.
Preparing for J-Link
There are several ways to power the board selected via J5:
- EXT: Via the power jack X1 and an external power source
- JLINK: Via the J-Link using the "Target Power Supply" feature
- USBDEVICE: Via the USB connector X3
- USBPWR1: Via the USB connector X5
After configuring power the J-Link is used as follows:
- Connect the J-Link to the JTAG connector X13
- Power on the board as described above
- Verify the Connection with J-Link Commander. The output should look as follows:
Example Projects
Hello World
The following example project was created with the SEGGER Embedded Studio project wizard and runs out-of-the-box on the EFM32GG12. It outputs "Hello World!" to the Debug Terminal in a loop.

- J-Link software: V8.12
- Embedded Studio: V8.16
- Hardware: SK-FM3-100PMC
