This article describes specifics for the Renesas EK-RX74N evaluation board.

Preparing for J-Link

  • Connect the J-Link via RX/RX-FINE adapter to 14-pin DEBUG2 connector (J9).
  • Set switches SW6 to position 1-0 to disable on-board E2lite.
  • Power the board via USB-C on DEBUG1.
  • Verify the Connection with e.g. J-Link Commander. The output should look as follows:
