The RZ/G1E Starter Kit board's JTAG connector (CN1) is initially configured for JTAG Boundary SCAN.
In order to connect to the CPU's debug port, at first the board needs to be manually reconfigured. This can be done by switching SW7/1 (MD21) to OFF (logic 1).
