This article describes specifics for the Microchip CuriosityPro PIC32MK MCM evaluation board.
Minimum requirements
- J-Link software V7.98j or later
Preparing for J-Link
The Microchip CuriosityPro PIC32MK MCM evaluation board comes with an ICSP connector. To set the board up with J-Link, the following steps are required:
- Solder a 6-pin header with 1.27mm / 0.05" spacing to J502 (ICSP TARGET)
- Connect GND, VTREF, RESET, SWDIO and SWCLK wires from the J-Link adapter to the J701 connector.
The following table describes the pinning and how it should be connected to the SEGGER Flying Wire Adapter.

- Power the board via the USB-Micro port
- Verify the Connection with e.g. J-Link Commander. The output should look as follows:
