J-Link Registration

The SEGGER J-Link Registration utility can be used to register your SEGGER product such as a J-Link, J-Trace or Flasher. Registering your product has several benefits:

• Registration confirms that your product is an authentic SEGGER device.
• You can be sure to get notifications about product updates and new releases as they are available.
• Access to support system

Note:
Registering a J-Link does not "lock" or restrict its use in any way. It can still be used with any PC.

How To

The registration process itself is pretty straight forward:

1. Connect the product to be registered to your PC
2. Start the SEGGER J-Link Registration utility which is part of the J-Link Software Package
   Please make sure that you are running the latest available version.
   
   
   
3. Click Register
   --> You will be forwarded to a web form.
   
4. Fill in the web form.
5. Confirm your registration by clicking Submit.
6. Done!
