The GigaDevice GD32H7 are 32-bit general-purpose microcontrollers based on the Arm® Cortex®-M7 processor.

Internal ECC RAM
GD32H7 devices have ECC RAM which can be disabled. However, a connect to GD32H7 devices will initialize 16KB at 0x20000000. For more information, refer to the ECC article.
Device Specific Handling
Connect
- During target connection, the security protection level is verified. If the device is configured with protection level low (NVMC_OBSTAT0_EFT.SPC), the user is prompted to unsecure the device before proceeding.
- A successful connection is only possible to an unsecured device.
Reset
- The device uses normal Cortex-M reset, no special handling necessary, like described here.
Attach
Attach is a debugging feature which exclusively applies to J-Link and J-Trace and does not apply to Flasher.
- Attach is supported / desired
